Prison Lawyer Nicholas Mifsud inherited his contract (by direct order) from his father Mario Mifsud: the nose-biting lawyer

The current in-house prison lawyer representing the prison in Court, the son of Mario Mifsud,  inherited the contract that was awarded to his father by direct order. Mario Mifsud is also the brother of Magistrate Joe Mifsud. Whilst appearing for the Corradino Correctional Facility, Nicholas Mifsud is also appearing for several inmates such as Abner Aquilina.

Why would the Labour Party need to keep such tight and direct control over Malta’s prison? The Labour Party views prison as a high priority in terms of direct oversight. In Kordin’s Correctional Service Facility there is a Labour Party lawyer, a secret service official, a head of strategy (that eloped with the CEO), a visiting Party stalwart, and probably many others if I had to start profiling.

The Labour Party Correctional Services of Kordin.
