So much for “I will never do anything against the interest of my leaders“. Alex Agius Saliba is already breaking Robert Abela’s Party line by refusing to support Robert Metsola’s candidacy for the Presidency of the European Parliament.
It’s just been weeks since the European Parliament elections and already, Alex Agius Saliba has begun forming his own political discourse and positions seperately and in direct contradiction to his own official Party line.
Alex Agius Saliba may spare us the time and the contrition and go ahead to straight away form a new Labout Party with Joseph Muscat as its leader.
