Yesterday, Chinese journalist Jennifer Zeng published an unconfirmed news report that China’s President Xi Jinping has had a stroke during the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China’s Third Plenary Session.
The rumours were further fueled today as the CCP enforced a communication blackout on the high-level meeting. The Central Committee of the CCP is its highest organ and meets around seven times a year to take major decisions. The meeting is usually preceded and followed with a lot of party propaganda.
This is not the first time that rumors spread that Xi Jinping has had a stroke, especially with the circulation of last year’s video of him wobbling as he descended a plane.
