The generator business is typically very popular in third-world countries where power-cuts are the norm. Today, the generator business in Malta is booming on an industrial scale as you can wake up one day to find a generator outside your doorstep feeding electricity to the whole street.
Apparently, according to The Shift, all the industrial-sized diesel-powered generators in Malta are currently being rented by Enemalta to cater for the electricity crisis. This has not been enough as power-cuts are constant in many localities and people are being left without electricity for nights and days on end. Nexos seem to be the largest supplier, followed by others like Robert Abela’s friends, Bonnici Brothers, and possibly Keith Schembri’s companies as well.
On a matter of national security, our electricity supply, the Maltese government has turned to its rent-seeking friends to save the nation from collapse. It’s as if we are declining into a situation of low-standards and setups that were unheard of as of now.
We’re never short of new historic experiences under Labour.
