Christina Assi held the Olympic Torch during the Olympics opening ceremony

On more relevant matters than the matters that offend Catholics, Lebanese and AFP journalist Christina Assi was invited by France to hold the Olympics Torch during the opening ceremony last week. Christina Assi lost her leg after the Israeli Defense Forces shelled her and her colleague for no reason at all. Her colleague, Issam Abdallah was killed in the attack. The IDF did not take responsibility for this deliberate attempted murder and war crime.

She can be seen here escorted by Dylan Collins who was also wounded in the attack.
