This story also helps explain why Delsk (Destination Europe), who have a lot of money at stake with my investigation, are my prime suspects for commissioning a hacking attempt against me.
The Delsk management in Malta, which includes Gao Mao, Joseph Vella Bonnici, Charlon Gouder, Joseph Camenzuli, and Joseph Muscat, were extremely worried about my investigation. Typically, Joseph Muscat advises his corrupt associates to ignore bad press, but he made an exception with my investigation about Delsk and discussed it extensively with the boss, Wang Jing.
Delsk even held a sort of management crisis meeting about my investigation. One of the proposals pitched during this meeting by both Gao Mao and Joseph Camenzuli was to offer me €20,000 to shut up. Then Joseph Vella Bonnici interjected at their proposal and told them “Are you out of your mind?”
After the meeting, Gao Mao kept pondering over what I might desire to make me stay silent.
There’s plenty to write about this scene which I am doing so for my next book. Meanwhile, I’m trying to imagine how Delsk would have commissioned the attack. The attack would have been commissioned by Wang Jing himself. Note that there was no resolution or conclusion drawn up from the meeting mentioned earlier.
