Aleander Balzan leaves behind a legacy of fascism in the Labour Party

The Labour government’s chief propagandist, Aleander Balzan has been sacked, and the country is much better off because of it. Aleander Balzan’s main role was propaganda and it has been ever since he had his role at the Office of the Prime Minister under Joseph Muscat’s administration.

He is the vile propagandist who for years on end before she was murdered, conjured and designed the hateful Labour Party propaganda against Daphne Caruana Galizia. After she was murdered, he turned to cover-up his corrupt masters and kept smearing the memory of the journalist. After Joseph Muscat was forced to resign, Robert Abela kept him as part of his continuity plan where Aleander Balzan kept producing and publishing vile attacks against anyone critical to Labour. Right before he was sacked, he conjured up the government’s propaganda campaign against the judiciary having written the speeches behind the “Establishment” conspiracies.

He has always been like this. I remember him very well during my visits to the Union Press. He never had any particular skill, although he was industrious and laborious: in hateful propaganda. Joseph Muscat picked him to defend him from journalists and the truth. Another one of his kind is Josef Caruana.

Behind him, Aleander Balzan leaves a legacy of fascism and hatred. Good riddance.
