Tens of thousands of protesters have turned up to the streets, yesterday in UK cities, after the country was swept with race riots that specifically targeted immigrants, Black, Brown and Muslim people.
These counter-protests were expected as the UK has a very strong and long tradition of anti-racist and anti-fascist movements taking to the streets to counter-protests against fascists.
Below are the videos of the counter-protests, one in Walthamstow, East London and the other in Sheffield. I’m also uploading a video interview with one of the victims of the race riots.
