The Ministry of Education has fumbled its payments following the agreement it signed with the Malta Union of Teachers. Teachers have complained that they only received part of the agreed-upon allowances, while others have said they didn’t receive any of the allowances at all.
Teachers were meant to be given a one-time payment of 1000 along with other-time allowances. The Ministry even announced the payments in a Facebook post. The agreement between the Ministry of Education and the Malta Union of Teachers was signed last month.
