As a journalist and a writer I did a public service by exposing Rosianne Cutajar. My readers have fully appreciated this public service and I also thank them for their continued support.
I’m compelled to say this in these absurd circumstances that for doing a public service I experienced the full burnt of the law. Rosianne Cutajar initiated two vexatious cases against me in court, including a criminal case and a libel case. She lost the criminal case and dropped her libel case. Her original aim at opening the libel case was to extract from me a maximum of ย10,000 in damages.
For presenting the evidence to back my claims in the libel case she herself had opened, Rosianne Cutajar, along with her scum lawyer Edward Gatt, went to the Attorney-General’s office in Valletta and submitted a request for a criminal investigation on her WhatsApp chats leaks. The Attorney-General and the Police promptly and immediately reciprocated to the request and opened a criminal investigation against me over which I was arraign in court.
As a consequence of this criminal case, I was suspended from the Malta Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to all of this, Rosianne Cutajar bullied me, as a journalist, in public, riled her supporters against me, all the while the Labour Party’s media propaganda arm, ONE News, propagated a smear campaign against me.
Rosianne Cutajar, lost her criminal case, dropped her libel case and was forced to resign from the Labour Party Parliamentary Group. Now, she is back with the Labour Parliamentary Group and all she has to say about all of this is “Let’s move forward.” No regrets, and no apologies.
Look, I’m not complaining for my own sake. I swept the floor with them, and I’ll do it again, over and over again. However, these are objective facts which underscore the ugly, corrupt and authoritarian reality of our criminal state that oppresses journalists and protects criminal and corrupt politicians – all this with grace, backing and support of the Attorney-General and the Police Commissioner.
As for the nation, her reinstatement is a total disgrace and a grave insult to the Maltese.
Rosianne Cutajar has to face Justice, but not only that, she owes me for the damages, and I will be seeking them in October. I prefer not to give any further details, for now, given that I am making legal plans.
