The Ukrainian occupation of Sudhza city and its neighboring towns in Kursk, Russia, is to drag on at least until September when Russian conscripts are scheduled to arrive in the area to fight the Ukrainians. Meanwhile, Ukraine is also making plans to set up a military HQ in Kursk to further coordinate its occupation.
More towns were captured to the East of Kursk in the Belgorod region with the governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, declaring a regional emergency. The Ukrainians have also launched at least four drone attacks on Russian military air bases from Kursk including an attack against the Borisoglebsk and Baltimor airfields in Voronezh.
Ukrainian troops also delivered humanitarian aid to the citizens in the occupied areas.
