The Malta Security Services (MSS) and Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa are deliberately undermining Malta’s national security

I can not directly prove the statement above, but this is the reason I will be prompting a Magisterial Inquiry on the connections between the Malta Secret Services and the Russian security services when I land in Malta in October. However, the stories that I will be publishing here will provide a very shocking and bleak context to my claims.

Let me simplify things for those who yet have not understood what is at stake here.

Imagine you live in a a very small society which is very vulnerable due to its smallness (we do). This society has been afflicted by a plague epidemic. The society has around just five doctors, four of whom work privately as self-employed and another one works for the government.

Suddenly, in the middle of this epidemic, the government arrests three of the private doctors on ridiculously trumped-up charges.

Let’s pose some simple and basic questions.

Why was Chun Wang handed over a Maltese passport when a basic and simple due diligence check would have easily shown that he is a dangerous cyber-criminal apart from managing the biggest bitcoin mining pool in Russia? A simple Google search would have sufficed to confirm this.

Are we so naive to believe that the Malta Security Services are not doing due diligence on the foreign passport buyers? The negligence is so gross that it looks deliberate. Perhaps, the Maltese authorities wanted to give him a passport despite his background. Why this enthusiasm to give a Maltese passport to someone serving the Russian security services? Also, why is the Nationalist Party so silent about this matter? Isn’t the Nationalist Party supposed to be “nationalist” and be concerned with out national security?

Let me pose another related question. Why haven’t the authorities contacted me following police reports that were filed by individual citizens that they were hacked and had their data dumped on the dark web? I was the target of this attack and I even found the source of the attacks – it was a Chinese Ministry of Defense-sanctioned operation by their hacker group called APT31. Their attacks have now stopped following my announcement on Twitter (X.com) where I outed them in public.

Another question. Why are the Police and the Office of the Attorney-General going after Malta’s top white-hat hackers, instead of pooling their resources to protect individuals like me against APT31?

Allow me to keep posing questions. Why did the Maltese police allow Daniel Meli to conduct simple and stupid illegal activities, under the direct supervision of the FBI, instead of just arresting him right away to prevent his crimes from being conducted?

I’m not making any grand conclusions, however the material result of this chain events is very clear.

The authorities are waging a war against Malta’s hackers all the while they cozy-up with Russian spies and encourage foreign hacking groups to attack local journalists. The end result is that our national security is undermined.

Coincidence? Only a Magisterial Inquiry would tell.
