Not in the national interest

The first heroic act in the national interest in the European Parliament by the two Labour MEPs who are fighting for the criminal Joseph Muscat to stay out of jail, is to open an attack on the European Parliament President Robert Metsola for being married to a lobbyist. You can read a detailed article about hereย where it also states that the President did not nothing illegal or irregular.

From an administrative and bureaucratic perspective, the work of the spouse is always legitimately considered as potentially conflicting, but the issue at hand is neither in our national priority not a priority for the Labour Party itself. This is Alex Agius Saliba and Daniel Attard running their own popularity contests at home after having based their political campaigns defending Malta’s most corrupt politician in history.

They’re concerned about “conflicts of interest” but can’t come to admit in public that their previous leader looted the national health service their beloved Dom Mintoff gave them.

Pathetic.
