Chris Cardona was invited to the Labour Party Annual General Conference by Prime Minister Robert Abela

Many were those who have asked questions on Chris Cardona’s presence at the Labour Party’s Annual General Conference. Chris Cardona was actually invited to the Conference by Prime Minister Robert Abela.

Why was he there? What are his plans? What does he intend to do? Is he making a comeback in politics? That won’t be a good idea for Labour in terms of reputation, especially if it is trying to bring back the floating voters. Chris Cardona has a horrible reputation for instituting multiple garnishee orders on Daphne Caruana Galizia after she reported that he visited a brothel in Germany while on government duty. There is much more to this story, but I’ll leave it at that.

Today, he seems to be helping the Attorney-General as a state witness on the Vitals and Steward case. Redemption? It may be a very long road considering his track-record.

    When you dredge a harbour, I thought the idea was to dump the sludge far out to sea. In Labour’s case the sludge, be it Rosianne Cutajar and Chris Cardona, is taken away for a few weeks and then pumped back into the harbour.

    Since they allowed Rosianne Cutajar to be reinstated,
    What’s stopping them from allowing Caruana, Cardona, or even the likes of Schembri and Mizzi back into the fold?

    That there is their screwed up third world mentality.
