A year after Azerbaijan invaded Nagorno-Karbakh and expelled its 100,000 residents, it is now taking over the region whilst continuing with the destruction of Armenian cultural heritage.
Yesterday, Azerbaijani state officials visited the Dadivank Monastery in Artsakh. Artsakh was and Armenian and Christian region since the 4th century AD and was called Karabkah after the creation of the Soviet Union. The Dadivank Monastery dates to the 9th century AD.
Below is footage of the last Armenian Christians bidding farewell to Artsakh before being displaced, followed by footage of the Azerbaijani state officials.
