A recent project by the Junk Boys and Alt Holdings in Malta

This is a recent real-estate project by the Junk Boys, in this case Alt Holdings of Alex Tanti and Christopher Vella of Polymath & Boffin. They want to demolish a villa in Balzan and replace it with a block of apartments – a very typical junk project that is often opposed by the residents of this locality.

The villa seems to be the white  one on the corner and looks fitting in a street originally built for villas and not for blocks of apartments. Residents have also signed petitions against the project to the Planning Authority and the Local Council.

    Its never ending. Nowhere is safe.

    I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again… Malta needs a dictatorship of sorts for a good number of years, at least 10. What I mean by a dictatorship of sorts is someone running the country who owes NOTHING to anyone for his position and who does not need to please anyone to keep his position. A person with a massive pay so he won’t be corrupted. A person who loves his country and will not bend to pressure by the greedy pigs.

      The last time that happened, it paved the way for a massive counter-reaction (“Malta taghna llkoll” a.k.a. Joseph “naqdik jiena” Muscat who got us into this mess). Malta’s only hope is a massive reboot and hope the next generation are brighter.
