Miriam Dalli’s consultant and an engineer with no experience in the energy sector becomes Head of the Climate Action Authority

Abigail Cutajar, Miriam Dalli’s consultant on renewable energy, has been appointed Head of the Climate Action Authority. Despite the fact that Abigail Cutajar has never worked in the energy sector, she intends to cover Malta with solar-panels and install wind-turbines off the Maltese coast (an incredibly anti-environmental thing to do). She was partly responsible for the Malta Draft National Climate Action Plan document which reads like a political manifesto.

Miriam Dalli, who is responsible for significant and multiple energy crises, staffed the Ministry of Energy and the Environment with her political appointees and loyalists. She is known for creating government agencies like Project Green that are more intended as a show of propaganda rather than as actual and functioning government entities. Most of the work done by these entities was previously done by the Ministry or other entities, but the Labour government is creating this pseudo-entities to prop up its politicians and candidates like they did with Steve Ellul who led Project Green.

Likewise, expect Abigail Cutajar as a Labour Party election candidate.
