Airlines such as Emirates, Qatar Airways, and FlyDubai have already been avoiding Iranian airspace before it is officially shut down tonight by Iranian authorities. Iran fears reprisals by Israel over the anniversary of October 7th when Hamas invaded Israel and killed up to 1200 Israeli civillians in two days and kidnapped another 200.
Iranian airspace is set to be closed until 9th October.
