Robert Abela’s renewal of the Labour Party: a campaign against the free press

What has changed in the Labour Party and in the government after the Labour Party’s latest swipe and change of its top and administrative posts? In terms of government policy nothing has changed except that the government is on a renewed offensive against the free press. Basically, in every local interview he has given, he has attacked the free press and called for new restrictions on free speech. The latest one is here.

I wonder what the newly elected President of the Labour Party, Alex Sciberras, is going to do to bring about a change in party policy. Replace Supreme Leader altogether? How would that work out? Everyone in Labour who is not part of the Robert Abela and Joseph Muscat cabals are merely spectators to their party’s self-destruction, while doing very little to stop it.
