Archpriest Joseph Curmi is being investigated by the FCID in relation to Professor Joseph Bonnici’s case

The Archpriest of St George’s Parish in Rabat, Gozo, Joseph Curmi is set to be charged with misappropriation of funds and fraud in relation to the parish accounts of Saint George’s Basilica.

Professor Joseph Bonnici and his sister, Maria Angela Bonnici who is involved in the administration of the parish have already been charged.

More details will come out later during the day.

    I know Fr Joseph Curmi. I cannot exclude a priori that he may have committed some objectively illegal act but I am sure he could never have had a bad intention, a men’s tea. He is a correct and good man
