In principle, I don’t object to the Police Commissioner being well-paid for their services. They should be someone who dedicates themselves exclusively to public service, without being distracted by maintaining a LinkedIn profile to look for future career prospects, as Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà seems to do.
However, I definitely do object to having Angelo Gafa as Police Commissioner whose main role under a Labour administration is to protect and defend Robert Abela’s associates while upholding his Devil’s Pact.
