An 18-year-old man from Birżebbuġa was hospitalised in the early hours of Friday morning following a traffic accident on Triq il-Labour in Żejtun.
The incident occurred at around 2:00 a.m., when the young man reportedly lost control of his Kymco motorcycle and crashed into a parked Ford Transit.
Emergency medical personnel arrived promptly at the scene to provide first aid before transporting him by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital. He has since been certified as seriously injured.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident, with further details expected as inquiries continue.
