This Wednesday evening, 6th November, the community of Ħal Safi is rallying to support Godwin Monreal, a father of three, as he prepares to travel to the UK for critical medical treatment. The football match, (open for both males and females), will be held at the five-a-side football pitch near the town’s playground and will run from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, with free entrance for all attendees.
While entry is free, participants are encouraged to make a small donation in place of the usual pitch fee. All contributions will go directly to assist Monreal’s medical expenses. Organisers hope the event will bring the community together in solidarity for Monreal and his family during this challenging time.
