Learning the lessons of the Devil’s Pact the hard way

By now everyone has watched the footage of Luke Dalli insulting the Prime Minister. I’ve already written about this opportunistic character to introduce him well enough to our readers. He has never been an activist with the Labour Party and was never involved in its politics, but when Labour entered office in 2013, he suddenly became a big Joseph Muscat supporter and hangs out with him until this very day.

Prime Minister Robert Abela is finally getting to experience publicly the consequences of his own Devil’s Pact with Joseph Muscat, or rather the consequences of making deals with criminals: no one is really loyal to nothing except for their personal interests. It’s also a reflection of the state of the party and its youth: just idiotic and rabid opportunists who stand for nothing and have no values.

Gangsters do not have friends, they have accomplices.

    1. And these accomplices are enemies to each other, like mafia style.
