“Persecuted Auditor” of the Vitals fraud was giving out awards yesterday

UPDATE: Apparently, Reno Spiteri is a wine importer and if you buy wine from him you receive an award.

Yesterday, persecuted auditor of the Vitals fraud, Christopher Spiteri was giving out awards to Malta’s restaurants and catering establishments. Apparently the initiative, called “Wines and Restaurants Malta.com”, was originally founded by his father, but he is also involved. His father was engineer and the auditor has already been introduced to our audience.

The so called persecution doesn’t seem to be very effective, and, incredibly, some locally recognised professionals take these awards seriously. It would be interesting to learn more about this charade. Maybe some people have too much time on their hands, and maybe some other things.
