Maltese Water polo official Rita Azzopardi has been appointed as the delegate for two pivotal Women’s Champions League matches in Spain.
On 25th January 2025, Azzopardi served as the delegate for the Women’s Champions League Day 4 clash between Astralpool CN Sabadell and Dunaújváros WPC in Sabadell, Spain. The match featured a thrilling contest between two elite European teams battling at the highest level of the sport.
She will again be in action on 15th February 2025, overseeing the Day 5 encounter between CN Terrassa and Astralpool CN Sabadell in Terrassa, Catalonia. With both teams competing for crucial points, her presence will play an essential role in ensuring fair play and professionalism.
