The Prime Minister travelled to the EU Summit by private jet, while the President of the EU Parliament flew to Malta with KM Malta Airlines

Yesterday, Prime Minister Robert Abela simply used the Council meeting to play local partisan politics, as usual trying to project himself as “a man of peace” in contrast to the “warmongering” Opposition. He is completely out of touch from what’s happening outside of his small world of Maltese village politics. He can’t even grasp the basic concepts of national security and is steering our country into an alignment with the far-right and Viktor Orban’s government.

Prime Minister Robert Abela’s “peace” comes with a high price tag. The Prime Minister of Malta flew to the EU’s Special Council Meeting on Defence by private jet. He even took a photo of himself in the private jet looking at some papers to pretend he is busy.

On the other hand, the European Parliament President Roberta Metsola travelled from Brussels to Malta on a commercial flight by KM Malta Airlines

Roseanne called Metsola โ€œ Ir-Regina tal Gwerrerโ€ in a recent newspaper article. What shall we call your step father who is one of the biggest arms dealers in the Mediterranean?
