The second round of the Maltese Table Football Championships took place last weekend, where the national champion for this year was officially determined.
Samuel Bartolo sealed the championship title and his tenth personal title after dominating the Premier League and completing the season unbeaten. His impressive performance saw him finish at the top of the standings, ahead of Mark Gauci and Charlie Aquilina, who placed second and third, respectively.
In the First Division, Massimo Cremona was in a league of his own, clinching the title without a single loss and securing promotion back to the Premier League. Following him in the standings were Spencer Conti and Mauro Camilleri, with Camilleri earning promotion after a decisive playoff victory against Patrick Pace.
The next major event for Maltese table football athletes will be the Mallorca Major in Spain at the end of next month. This international competition is made possible thanks to the support of SportMalta and the Maltese Olympic Committee, ensuring that Maltese players continue to compete at the highest level on the global stage.
