Swieqi United will officially lift the league trophy on Saturday as they conclude their title-winning campaign against Hibernians.
Theumaโs side secured the championship last weekend with a commanding 3-0 victory over Birkirkara, opening an unassailable eight-point lead with one game to spare.
This triumph marks Dorianne Theumaโs first league title as a senior coach, just a year after retiring as a player.
Swieqi United’s dominance has been evident throughout the season, scoring 59 goals while conceding just 12 – the leagueโs best defensive record.
Their solidity at the back has been highlighted by three consecutive clean sheets leading up to this final fixture.
Meanwhile, Hibernians head into the match after a setback, slipping to fourth place on 39 points following a defeat to Mฤกarr United.
Mฤกarr, now level on points with Birkirkara, will face the Stripes as both teams battle for second place before turning their attention to the domestic cup.
In the Bottom Four, San ฤ wann take on Valletta, with top scorer Hailey Russell eyeing another milestone – just three goals away from reaching 30 for the 2024/25 campaign.
