Yesterday evening, at around 8:45 p.m., police were informed of a traffic accident that occurred on Triq il-Bużana in Rabat.
Preliminary investigations from officers at the scene revealed that the collision involved a Kia Avella driven by a 25-year-old man from Santa Luċija and a Kymco Agility motorcycle ridden by a 41-year-old man from Birkirkara.
A medical team was called to the site, and the motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital. He was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
