Strong showing for Malta at Blackball Youth Nations Cup – four wins out of five

Malta’s youth squads enjoyed a highly successful second day at the 2025 Blackball Youth Nations Cup in Bridlington, notching up four victories from five matches in the prestigious international pool competition.

The Under-15 team delivered two impressive wins, edging Scotland A 8-7 in a nail-biter, and following it up with a solid 9-6 victory over Northern Ireland A. Despite their spirited performance, they narrowly lost 8-7 to England A in a hard-fought clash.

Meanwhile, the Under-23 squad continued their momentum with two identical wins, defeating England B and Wales, both by a scoreline of 15-10. These results reflect the strong depth and preparation of the Maltese contingent across both age categories.
