Martin Farrugia’s “zoo” was built on agricultural land

As one would have expected, Martin Farrugia’s illegal zoo which was then regularised with the Labour government’s reforms on wild animals, was built on what previously was agricultural land. You can send the area of the enclosure on Google Maps here.

Any Tom, Dick and Harry can apply for an animal enclosure inside agricultural land for research and “scientific purposes”. If your architect is clever enough, you may even turn your enclosure into a fully-fledged legalised concrete zoo.
