Exiles Welbees produced a dominant campaign in the BOV Water Polo First Division Winter League, They won every match on their way to clinching the league title with a commanding 13-point lead over nearest challengers Marsaskala.
Having already secured the championship mathematically, Exiles capped off their flawless season with a convincing 19-8 victory over Marsaskala. This enabled them to close out the league with maximum points.
The trophy presentation took place at the National Pool in Tal-Qroqq. Ernest Agius, Chief Operations Officer at Bank of Valletta, and Karl Izzo, President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta, handed over the BOV Water Polo First Division Winter League trophy to the triumphant Exiles squad.
Exiles’ captain expressed pride in the team’s achievement, stating: “This title is a result of months of hard work, dedication, and incredible teamwork. We are proud to have represented our club with such consistency and to reward our supporters with this championship.”
