Yesterday, the Times of Malta published a report on the use of nitrous oxide by young people as a recreational drug. A local organisation is pressuring the government to curb the use of nitrous-oxide products by the youth.
An interesting fact that is being omitted in these reports is that one of the largest European manufacturers of nitrous-oxide products is actually based in Malta and it is called Ramdon Ltd, which was previously Helix Corporate. The company is very secretive but it seems to have set up its registration in Malta.
The company produces products such as “FastGas” which young people are also using to get high (no pun intended). Another product it is producing is “Exotic Whip” but it also seems to be manufacturing the products that are being found in Malta such as “Miami Magic”. The company declared up to €11.7 million in profits for 2023.
