The expeditionary sea base vessel, USS Lewis B. Puller,(ESB-3), has docked at Palumbo’s shipyard in Malta for repairs and maintenance. It was previously operating in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea supporting US missions against piracy and illegal smuggling.
The crew’s ship has been granted shore-leave and the US Embassy released a statement that can be read here.
