A 29-year-old Brazilian man residing in Żurrieq was seriously injured following a traffic accident in Ħal Għaxaq on Tuesday evening.
The collision occurred at around 6:00pm on Dawret Ħal Għaxaq Road and involved a Malaguti Madison motorcycle driven by the 29-year-old, and a Volvo XC60 driven by a 42-year-old man from Ħal Għaxaq.
A medical team was called to the scene and the motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the circumstances of the incident are still ongoing.
