In what seems to be a very surprising gesture by an academic of the University of Malta, this professor, George Cassar actually took time off to appear on a TV programme and advocate for his student’s research. The professor successfully arranged a meeting with the Minister, allowing his student to present her work directly to the Minister.
I’m sharing the note here since this is quite exceptional with most of the academics spending their free time working on their private practices instead.
