The sentence by the pseudo-socialist Judge who passed judgement by quoting a Labour party businessmen that was funded by Malta’s terrorist oligarch, may have marked the start of an authoritarian trend by the Courts of Malta to prohibit the publication of details about Court cases. As part of this new and insane trend, details of foreign politicians are being withheld from publication along with details of companies accused of serious money laundering charges and sanction-breaking.
The Courts are suddenly deciding at their own discretion what details about a Court case should be published in the press. The Courts should have no right to decide upon themselves what details about a case should be published. The current trend is very clear and this ongoing Court censorship is aiding people in power and even relieving them from the public consequences of their actions.
