The Aquatic Sports Association of Malta has announced the national U18 men’s water polo squad that will compete in the European Aquatics U18 Championships, scheduled to take place in Oradea, Romania, between 18 and 24 August 2025.
U18 Head Coach Jonathan Valletta and Assistant Coach Milan Cirovic have selected a 16-player roster, bringing together some of Malta’s brightest young talents from across the island’s top waterpolo clubs.

Sliema ASC – Giancarlo Gatt, Julian Chircop, Jayden Cutajar, Philip Tabone, Sam Engerer, Zach Dzanovic
The squad will be representing Malta in a competition that brings together Europe’s best young waterpolo nations, offering invaluable international experience for the country’s next generation of players.
Speaking about the selection, Head Coach Valletta praised the players’ commitment and preparation in the lead-up to the tournament, expressing confidence in their ability to compete strongly against Europe’s elite.
Malta’s fixtures and group opponents will be announced by European Aquatics ahead of the opening day on 18 August.
