We retracted our previous story on potentially mistaken identity

We have retracted our previous story on the accused who killed Khim Bahadur Pun on potentially mistaken identity over similar names.

However we are still trying to identify the individual.

Unfortunately we are yet to employ a Court reporter to address our deficiency in Court related matters and we are working on this.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Itโ€™s never a good idea to rush these things. I hope you handle it better next time, because if I were that person, I would definitely consider taking legal action. I have always supported this paper, but rushing to such conclusionโ€ฆ. especially when dealing with children, is a serious mistake on your part. Youโ€™re either certain or youโ€™re not. A Facebook search is not conclusive evidence, and assuming someoneโ€™s identity based on common traits or attributes is a fatal error.
