A 44-year-old Japanese woman from Birkirkara was taken to Mater Dei Hospital at around 7:30pm yesterday evening after being injured in a traffic accident in Triq San Pawl, San Pawl il-Baħar.
Initial investigations revealed that a 44-year-old German man residing in St Julian’s, who was driving a Voge 300 Rally motorcycle, lost control and fell. The woman was a passenger on the motorcycle.
Medical assistance was provided on site, and the woman was transported to hospital by ambulance, where she was certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
