75-year-old man seriously injured after being hit by car in Iklin

Today, at around 11:15am, police were informed that their assistance was needed in Triq il-Klin, Iklin.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a 75-year-old man from Mosta was hit by a Volvo XC40, driven by a 48-year-old woman from Ħaż-Żebbuġ, who at the time was reversing the vehicle.

A medical team was called to the scene, and the victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance for treatment. He was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
