Gozo doesn’t seem towerless as Labour postures with fake environmental-credentials

The Labour Party was up in arms when Alex Borg said that he would consider having towers built in Gozo as part of his new vision for the country. The Minister for the Environment, Miriam Dalli was one of the Labour Party ministers along with the Prime Minister and everyone else, who pretended to be shocked by Alex Borg’s statements.

These are just some photos of apartment blocks built in Gozo in the recent years.  Gozo has seen a considerable rise in apartment blocks under the Labour Party administration and some of these developments have also taken place in areas like Xlendi with significant impact on the area. Many fear that the picturesque landscape in Gozo is being permanently ruined and that property prices in Gozo are also significantly going much higher. Not to mention the serial environmental and planning offenses by Gozitan developers that regularly go unchecked.

Journalists should show these photos to the Labour ministers who made a fuss over Alex Borg’s comments and ask what they think of them.
