Nice Opposition, but what’s your policy?

The ever pressing problem with Alex Borg, that has yet not been addressed, is that he is incompetent and inexperienced as they come. At this point, he should be making great efforts to inform himself and learn about the world around him. He can’t possibly pretend to manage the nation solely with what he has learnt from doing partisan politics in an island-village.

I think he is very lazy and I don’t say this offensively, but objectively. The man didn’t even care to build his forma mentis throughout his political career – he is like a sponge soaking in whatever people around him tell him without the necessary critical skills and the knowledge required to make proper judgement.

Alex Borg’s characteristics were reflected in the press release issued yesterday by the Nationalist Party condemning Prime Minister Robert Abela for his U-turn on Ukraine and saying that the Prime Minister is not serious. The problem with this press release is that it didn’t even pronounce the Nationalist Party’s position on Ukraine.

At the UNGA, the Prime Minister made a bold statement saying that Russia had to give up Crimea to Ukraine. Will PN take this position officially as part of its foreign policy or is PN going to abuse of foreign policy issues for partisan ends?

I am waiting for an answer.
