Sources close to ADPD – The Green Party, have informed The Maltese Herald that Ralph Cassar will not remain as Secretary-General of ADPD the Green Party. An official decision will be taken by the Executive Committee of the party this morning.
Earlier today, Times of Malta revealed that Ralph Cassar was expelled from his lecturing role at MCAST after having a relationship with one of his students who was 19 years old at the time. Ralph Cassar admitted the relationship but denied giving higher grades to the student in exchange of sexual favours. Ralph Cassar is currently being investigated over sexual harassment.
He has been Secretary-General of the Green Party since 2009, staying on as Secretary-General when the party changed its name to ADPD.
