The Malta FA Jubilee Cup set for exciting kickoff this week

The Malta FA Jubilee Cup, supported by Enemed, is set to get underway this week. There are several intriguing fixtures lined up across local stadiums between Wednesday 5th and Sunday 9th November 2025.

The newly launched competition was introduced as part of the Malta FA’s 125th anniversary celebrations. It promises thrilling encounters as clubs from the YoHealth Malta Premier League and beyond battle for early bragging rights and progression in the historic cup.

The action begins on Wednesday, 5th November, with a double-header at the Centenary Stadium.

• Marsaxlokk vs Hibernians kicks off proceedings at 18:00, with both sides looking to make a strong start in what is expected to be a competitive tie.

• Later that evening, Birkirkara face Sliema Wanderers at 20:30, a matchup that pits two of Malta’s most successful clubs against each other.

Over at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Żebbuġ Rangers will take on Attard, also at 20:30, in what promises to be a spirited contest between two sides eager to make their mark.

The action continues on Thursday, 6th November, with another trio of fixtures:

• Żabbar St Patrick host Naxxar Lions at 18:00 at the Centenary Stadium, followed by Tarxien Rainbows taking on Gżira United at 20:30.

• Meanwhile, at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Żurrieq meet Mosta in another evening showdown at 20:30.

Friday night football on 7th November sees Mgarr United welcome Valletta to the Victor Tedesco Stadium for an intriguing clash at 20:30, with both teams aiming to advance to the next round.

The week’s fixtures will conclude with a blockbuster tie on Sunday, 9th November, as Ħamrun Spartans face off against rivals Floriana at the Tony Bezzina Stadium at 17:00 — a highly anticipated encounter that will also be broadcast live on TVM Sport+.
