Earlier, I had one of those long late-night calls with a Labour Party insider that tend to wander through the many sensitive issues and themes the party is currently going through.
The most talked-about topic in the Labour Party right now is that Prime Minister Robert Abela intends his next term (if he wins the election) to be his last. The Prime Minister is absolutely sure of this.
As a result, there is already talk about the prospective Labour Party leadership race that will follow the Premier’s exit. The only contenders that are being discussed are Alex Agius Saliba and Ian Borg.
