Israel murders another Palestinian journalist in Gaza

Israel has assassinated another Palestinian journalist amid growing attacks on Gaza and increasing pogroms in the State of Palestine (West Bank). Mahmoud Wadi was filming the streets of Khan Younis yesterday when he was deliberately targeted by an Israeli drone. Fellow journalist Muhammad Abdel Fattah Aslih was also killed in the attack.

Mahmoud Wadi worked as a freelance photo-journalist and used a drone for his work. He worked for several outlets including Al-Jazeera.

Israel has killed more than 250 journalists in Gaza claiming that many of them were Hamas militants or associates, but evidence about these claims is lacking. Israel also targeted foreign journalists.

Israel airstrikes on Gaza were intense during the weekend but abated during the start of the week.

Hamas is expected to handover administration to the Palestinian Authority but is refusing to disarm.
