Man seriously injured after traffic incident in Gżira

A 59-year-old man residing in Gżira sustained grievous injuries early this morning following a traffic accident on Triq Mikiel Anton Vassallo, Gżira.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 AM (01:00hrs). Initial police investigations revealed that the man was driving a Toyota Vitz when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a set of iron barricades.

A medical team provided immediate assistance at the scene, and the man was transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital. He was later certified by medical staff as having sustained serious injuries.

Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
