Young motorcyclist rushed to hospital after violent collision in Imġarr Road, Gozo

A 22-year-old man was rushed to the Gozo General Hospital this evening after a serious traffic accident on Triq l-Imġarr, Gozo earlier today.

Early information indicates that the crash involved a van and a motorcycle, with the impact leaving the young rider injured on the road. Emergency medical teams from the Gozo General Hospital were dispatched immediately, treating the victim on site before urgently transporting him to hospital.

His condition remains unknown as doctors continue to assess him. Police investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
